I love photography. I started doing it as a way of capturing a subject quickly so that I could then spend
months doing a painting with out loosing my light. It was a convenience. But after all of these years I
find myself doing more and more of it. I really enjoy playing with the tangible color, light and shadows.
And photography for me is made up of so many happy accidents. I find myself searching for the next
one.

If you look closely at a lot of my work I seem to have become obsessed with manmade structures
existing or coexisting with the nature that surrounds them. As with time, nature has the tendency to
start deconstructing and in some cases integrating what we thrust upon it back into its self. That
marriage finds its way into my work again and again.

I work in both film and digital these days so I have included several examples here. I wonder if anyone
would be able to tell which is which. Enjoy.
